AN SONGMOUY

The years I have spent being part of BarCamp has changed me in many ways. One of the many things I am most proud of learning is team value where one does not simply fulfill their duty and leave, but they are able to observe, learn, and share opinion. Inspiration comes from your surrounding and as you surround yourselves with passionate people, you will have the urge to challenge yourself and change for the better.

Vong Saravuth

Media

Hi I’m Vong Saravuth, 12th Grader from Sovannaphumi School. I’ve been volunteering with many events around Cambodia, but something special about Barcamp ASEAN is that I’m not only learn how to organize an event but I’m also learn 21st century soft skills as well, such as communication skill during event promotion time, collaboration skill during our meeting, critical thinking and creativity skill during event planning time. I also discovered that learning is not only about going to class or sitting and listen to one person’s talk but it’s also about sharing what we have learnt and discuss about what’s coming up in the society too. Technology is playing a very important role in our lives especially in this 21st century, so what are you waiting for? Come to share your ideas and learn about other people’s ideas during this Barcamp ASEAN 2017! Remember that “No one is too old to learn and no one is too young to share”
